As a woman, I feel that women who mostly wear a salwar kameez or a kurta lay more emphasis on the top garment, whether it be a kurta, a top , a kaftan or anything fusion.

The bottom wear is generally neglected, as we usually do not put that much thought into what is to be worn as bottom wear, especially for our kurtas. The option is mostly a classic pant - simple and mundane.

It all began with experiments with my pants, which I would wear with my block-printed kurtas. I started requesting my tailor to add small design elements to my pants.

I began to realize that those little design elements actually elevated the entire look of my ethnic wear. People started noticing them, and I received compliments for the pants specifically. I was often asked, Where did you get these from, Please share the source, are these available on any online site, etc etc.

When I started conceptualizing the products for THE GOOD ARTISAN, cotton slips were definitely at the top in the priority list, however, I thought, what if we can provide designer pants for Indian ethnic wear as well?

The more I thought about this product, the more convinced I was to take this up. Once it was finalised, we browsed for the fabrics and designs. We decided to take up the three most desired colors for pants- white, beige and black.

These colors are versatile and hence can be coordinated with a range of colors in kurtas. We have made it easy for you, as you can now pick a suitable pant for your kurta or kaftan in more than 20 designs in 3 most sought-after colors.

'Ab is kurte ke niche kya pehnoon’, would not be the question that will boggle you anymore.

The GOOD Artisan pants are made in natural fabrics like cotton cambric, mulmul, cotton 40 and cotton -linen blends. These are skin-friendly fabrics that are airy and breathable and suits every skin type. The design elements are interesting, for instance, some have fabric potlis, others have a scalloped edge, some have frills and some with laces. So, if you want to add some style to your boring pants, THE GOOD ATISAN is where you must go.

From classic styles to tulip pants, from pallazos to dhoti styles, we have it all.

You will also find many interesting combo offers on our website, thegoodartisanstore.com

So, give us a chance to add that little necessary style to your ethnic pants.
